This may seem like something that is really easy to do. You will be surprised though, when you find out that it is not that easy. How many times do you just run to the shops and leave your kitchen light on; or the radio? Lets try to change this through the week.

Ways of achieving this are:      Start in one room and really look at what you have plugged in... do you need them plugged in all the time? Look at the lighting that you have in each room and ask yourself if you need all that light? Ever thought about an energy saving light bulb or a lamp instead? If you use 2 full garbage cans per week, try to get to one. If  you use one can, try to get to half a can.

Ways of achieving this are:      Recycle all the paper and  cardboard that you can;  Save all the bottles and juice boxes that you use and return them to a bottle depot;         Look for little to no packaging on what you buy and        recycle it if you can
